Ben Granville, our new Head of Sales for the South has brought his industry experience to Kellars in June 2022.
He is our latest addition to the team, and is always looking for ways to push the Kellars brand in the South of the UK.
From starting out as a Floor layer Apprentice when leaving school, to then starting his own business, supplying and installing flooring to gain some knowledge and understanding of the industry.
Ben decided to turn over a new page, and served in the army for a total of 7 years, and in this time had 2 promotions to corporal and served 2 tours of duty.
7 years later saw Ben re-introduce himself to the industry, and set up his own retail business, and opened 3 shops in the space of 3 years. He decided he wanted another challenge and opportunity elsewhere, so successfully sold the business and joined Abingdon Flooring as a Key Accounts and Contracts Manager.
With years of experience, Ben then progressed onto a new role, at Kellars, and is now ‘Head of Sales, South of England’
Working alongside the Area Sales Managers, communicating with potential and existing clients, introducing new products and stands to customers, and creating relationships with contacts in the industry is only half of the day to day roles Ben has.
A few quick fire questions that we asked Ben:

Your best-selling product? “Messina Carpet! An absolute market leading product, at a market beating price”
Favourite thing about Kellars? “Their approach to the retailer and understanding of the market. We are fresh, independent and exactly what the market needs right now, with great pricing and on trend exclusive ranges.
Most exciting thing that has come out of 2022 in regards to work? “A renewed look at the suppliers in our industry. Also, the hunger for a great product service and price, which Kellars is in the driving seat to supply exactly that.”
What do you do in your free time? “ Spend time with my 4 kids! My free time is in short supply, but I do enjoy golf and supporting my football team ‘Queens Park Rangers’ “
