Mike Davey, Head of Brand and Creative’s journey to The Flooring Show.

We talked with Mike Davey, the man behind the 2021 and 2022 Flooring Show Kellars exhibition stand design. 

Our Head of Brand and Creative joined Kellars in November 2020, and has brought his years of knowledge to us as a UK Flooring Wholesale.

8 months ago, Mike began working on the unmissable show for the industry, and has certainly put in the hours to make this event bigger and better than ever for Kellars.

“It’s crazy to think that 8 months of work is put in for 3 days at the show, but seeing everything put together at the show, and receiving positive feedback is 100% worthwhile” says Mike.

We have so many new products on show this year, and the development of each brand has really progressed since last year.

“From a complete new identity, to award winning brands, we can’t wait to kick off the show in style. I’ve worked on the smallest details, trying to make the stand even 1% better for our customers, visitors and sales managers”

Last year was a trial run for Mike, as this was his first flooring show with Kellars, and we used this as a foundation to build on, and we have by far done this for 2022. 

We asked Mike what he is looking forward to the most: “The whole show is just fantastic from start to finish. From meeting new customers, to sharing good times with the Kellars team, to just being in the moment and taking it all in”
