Times are getting busy, busy, busy which means it’s time for growth, expansions and developments across each area of the business. In 2023, Kellars continue to expand their team of Area Sales Managers. We chat with new recruit Ant Summers as he joins us in time for the 2023 Flooring Show next month.
With more than twenty Sales Representatives, Kellars are now covering almost every area of the UK, as the demand for flooring products and exhibition stands continues to rise.
Ant Summers, West Lancashire, Fylde Coast and Merseyside representative brings his 16 years of flooring experience to Kellars, after kick starting his career in 2007 at ‘Floors 2 Go’ in Blackpool.
Following on from this, he spent a period of time working in the fundraising industry for good causes, but it didn’t take him long to get back into the sales and retail industry, when he joined an internet retail company in 2016. Fast forward three years, Ant joined Furlong Flooring in 2019, and shortly after joined Likewise Flooring as an Area Sales Manager.
The Area Sales Manager says: “I joined Kellars first and foremost because I find their POS to be the best on the market. It’s eye-catching, on trend and we provide premium products at an affordable price”
As we approach one of the busiest times of the year, Ant joins us in time for the Flooring Show in Harrogate, leaving him with the challenge of getting stuck into a world of new products, stands and customers and developing his knowledge of Kellars POS.
Currently, his day-to-day roles consist of being out on the road, visiting retailers; both old and new, promoting products, ranges and stands, and building and developing client relationships with stores and retailers in his area.
As an area sales manager for the UK’s largest independent flooring supplier, building relationships is essential for successful sales. Taking the time to establish a connection with retailers, creates a solid foundation for collaboration and growth.
